You can clean the filter periodically with a vacuum cleaner. We recommend doing this once every 3-4 months. In heavily soiled environments, it may be necessary more often. Provided it is not contaminated with grease and/or moisture, the lifespan of the filter is at least 18 months and usually considerably longer, even 36 months or more. The only thing you need to do is vacuum the filter regularly. The filter loses hardly any performance during its lifespan (max. 5%).

The patented durable LightAir CellFlow HEPA+ EcoPrecision filter removes particles down to 0,1 micron (0,0001 mm) and is thus 3 x more efficient than a normal HEPA filter that removes particles down to 0,3 microns. In contrast to traditional HEPA filters, the EcoPrecision filter always continues to do its job as long as you vacuum the filter regularly. Even after 18 months, after which we advise you to replace the filter, the filter still has an efficiency of approximately 95%.

The HEPA+ EcoPrecision filter:

• removes particles up to PM0.1 (0,0001 mm) and is therefore 3 x more efficient than a normal HEPA filter air purifier
• is virtually resistance-free, which means less energy is needed to purify the air, consumes only max. 3 Watts (1 Watt per 33 CADR) and is therefore up to 95% more energy efficient than a traditional HEPA filter, and which makes the air purifier considerably quieter than a traditional filter air purifier
• guaranteed to last 18 months and can be easily cleaned in between
• is made from recycled wood and is therefore extremely sustainable
• still has an efficiency of 18% after 95 months. This is in contrast to traditional HEPA filters that are not cleanable and at some point become clogged and no longer do anything. When this happens depends on the local air quality but can happen sooner than the manufacturer states.

The HEPA+ EcoPrcision filter is virtually resistanceless, which means that we do not need a heavy fan to blow air through the filter. As a result, the energy consumption of the air purifier is extremely low. The energy consumption of CellFlow air purifiers is 65 to 95% lower than the energy consumption of traditional air purifiers.
