The innovative MikroPLASTIK-STOP™ jug is the first jug with a double modular filter system capable of blocking microplastics:
-The bi-flux® filter reduces water hardness, but retains the mineral salts that are useful to the organism. It also reduces unwanted substances that may be present in tap water, such as heavy metals, chlorine, chemical contaminants, some pesticides and chlorinated herbicides, and trialomethanes.
-In contrast, the MikroPLASTIK-STOP™ filter is able to block floating particles, such as microplastics that may be present in the water*.
This special latest generation double filtration system blocks 99,99% of microplastics and has been tested by independent German and Italian laboratories*.
The jug has a total capacity of 3 liters and a filtered water capacity of 2 liters.

* The effectiveness of the MikroPLASTIK-STOP™ filter has been tested by notified independent laboratories in Italy and by the Wessling Gmbh laboratory in Germany; the filter is able to block more than 99,9% of microplastics with a size starting from 1 micrometer.
In the case of sizes from 0,1 µm, the filter is able to block more than 99,5% of any microplastics present in the tap water.
